>A complete engine and FI conversion should require just the addition of a return line to the tank and a fuel pump and accumulator and filter to the fuel supply from the tank plus power to the engine harness.
Yes, that's mostly right. Are you calling a surge tank an accumulator? Lee's car has been (rightfully) written up several times in various locations. I think one of those is still at swedspeed.com (www.swedespeed.com/news/publish/Features/article_31.html) and another may be around, too. Search Google for "volper" for a good start but watch out for those "erotic museum" entries! Also see the article by Cameron Lovre at vclassics (www.vclassics.com/archive/d_jet.htm) for an overview of an FI install. I discussed Lee's car with him several times and the only other issues I recall at the moment that are not in your list are:
-- pre-pump for fuel tank, including necessary mods to tank and wiring
-- location of fuel distributor and hence battery
K-jet has no ECU so that simplifies some aspects of the installation quite a lot. I have installed D-jet in my 122 and the FI part was surprisingly easy. The rest tended to be a PITA, though.
Here is an older photo...
