It was a slight exagerration on my part. I wouldn't drive a car that was a danger to myself or anyone else.

I can't believe you are on the original struts! In that case you will notice quite a difference when you finally go to change them. You're overdue for front/rear bushings too if those have never been changed, and that helps to tighten up the ride.
