My new 75 164 140-160

If you pull the fuel pump fuse or relay while the car is running, it will release almost all the pressure in the system.

For whatever is left, just use care when you release the nuts on the fuel lines. Hold a rag around the fitting once it's broken loose, or a coffee can under it to minimize drips. Avoid letting fuel drip onto a hot manifold - I guess that should be obvious but I tell everyone anyway.

Wear safety glasses! No exceptions! Anytime when you're working with fuel or other chemicals. It's just not worth the risk of injuring an eye for life.
