sounds to me like you just have to do some mainteance, id say for even $1500 bucks your going to get your money's worth out of the car either way you look at it, keep in mind your going to pay more for another car or have to make payments. All of what you listed you can do yourself ( minus the Exhaust i live in california you cant do that here unless its exact replacement and you cant replace your own cat ) i would fix it if i was you.

All the work is relativly easy if you follow the FAQ directions.
