If the flange on the OD is larger, then what your looking for is an OD flange from a non FI engine (the FI OD flanges were larger, as were the drive shafts, due to the extra power) and the same type of OD, J,D etc. Splines from J types will fit all J type splines. The same with D types. J and D type flanges are not interchangable, as was mentioned.
The driveline shop I went to couldn't match up the larger flange with the smaller drive shaft flange. They had the right U joint, but that's it.
Finally I found one at Jondkheere Motors in Ontario.
