What should I use for Studded tire wheels?

'92 960 wheels will fit a 240. They probably have an offset of 25mm. Close enough.

If your current winter wheels are 14" and steel, I would personally opt to use those, assuming they offer no real problems such as balancing or roundness/straightness. 185/70/14 tires are very common, and they'll be a little cheaper than 15" tires.
