Brake lights not working -- Needs new fuse?

As 4VOLVOS said, the fuses are down by your left leg. The little door you take off usually has a Sticker in it that tells you which fuses do what.

It could also be your bulb Failure sensor but lets not go there yet. Look at the fuses. in fact there may be some unused fuses slid into a few holes at the bottom of the fuses. There is room for extra ones. If they weren't already used, you should not have to shop for them. Use the same color fuse as the one you took out. Blue. red, whichever.
