Still trying to figure out who to deal with on my non-dealer purchases and this helps. If I can buy Vanagon parts from New Hampshire, I can buy Volvo parts from Connecticut!

These hood struts lasted 198,000 km, but probably the colder winter temperature here shortens their life...
