shift point at O/D? 200 1989

Depends on how you drive, for merging on to one of our San Diego freeways I'd drop a load if my '88 tried to hit 4th at 50, it's more like 70+. For light footed around town traffic or if you're holding steady at 45 and it's not shifting then the cable might need adjusting. From the 1/2 and 2/3 shift speeds I'm guessing you're not accelerating very hard and it does sound like you could use a little looser adjustment on the cable.
