Nissen rad quality deteriorating?????

The all metal Nissens I installed in my 240 last July is doing the same thing. Looks nasty, but is working great. The OEM Toyota plastic/aluminum radiator that I installed in my daughters Camry last Feb.looks great, still looks like new, but is now leaking at the bottom seam.
