Well, in much of Europe, the priveledge of a driver's license is relatively hard earned and there's a general pride in being a good driver. Here in the US a driver's license is considered a right, it's very easy to get and a lot more pride is based on how big one's car is or how fancy the rims rather than actually having any skill in driving the car. Of course, for much of the country public transportation is abysmal, so being able to drive almost has to be a right, and another thing........ aw, don't get me started!
Cibie E-codes are next on my list!
