760GLE Running Rough as hell! 700 1985

Well, if it doesn't seem like it is running on all cylinders there could be a compression problem. Do you have a compression tester gauge? It's really easy to check. That should give you a pretty good idea about the condition of your engine.Pull the plugs to see what they look like. Try cleaning 'em with laquor thinner and see if it runs better. Sometimes when the AMMs go bad, they cause the car to run way too rich and foul the plugs. My '86 740 Turbo wagon ran the exact same way that you mentioned when the AMM was going out. Let me know what you find out about the plugs. If you keep that V6 maintained, they're good engines. If I remember correctly it's french made and was used in the Deloreans also. A Volvo green book on the B28 would be very useful to you. Most manuals like Haynes only cover 4 cylinder models.

Cheers,
Dave
