Windshield wipers not functioning, motor fried? 200 1986

When I hit the switch, nothing happened at all. No noise, no nothing. Tomorrow I will check to see if the motor still runs, but I have a feeling if it was just stripped I would hear something. Will post findings tomorrow, thanks for helping.
