its a swedish tank just like the volvo...of that year saab would have 10k maintenence intervals-they use semi-synthetic oil...normal problem(s) would include heater control issues, power top issues...the engine is bullet-proof & if has an automatic transmission is also bullet-proof...saab seat heaters are the best bar none...find a stand-alone dealership to get service/if in the cleveland ohio area 'shaker saab' are the best people & true saab nuts......having sold thousands of dollars of service on early 80's thru current model saabs i'm of the opinion that saabs are just like volvos only 180 deg different in their ergonomic approach to every thing they design. have fun-i warned you.
