yea, i have an '84 245 also and the hatch itself isnt too bad...but the sill under it was horrible, i had to basically cut out all of the remaining metal and patch in all new and seal it all up. the interior still smells like exhaust....know how to get that smell out?? thanks for the warning tho..
also thanks everyone for your input about the tranny!! i think i'm gonna make a purchase...not sure what i'm gonna do with it yet...but either i'll keep it, my brother will buy it from me, or i'll make it nice enough to give my girlfriend for a commuter car to college.
