I disected my old air filters, basterdized the metal parts and used them for the body and just replaced the filter elements with K&N filters on my newly rebuild SU carbs. :) The carbs look good with the pink filters, but I want to chrome the metal to make it look REALLY good. So while I'm at it, I figure I'll probably chrome the valve cover too. What else can I plate while I'm at it? My shop charges a flat fee per lot, so I want to do as many small items as will fit in the basket. Anything else in the engine compartment I am forgetting about that I could throw in there?
