I'd like to do some more plating under my hood, too, but in the meanwhile I polish and buff everything I can get off the engine without damaging gaskets.

I gutted and rebuilt my air filters, too, but I painted the covers to match the car, and used polished stainless steel hardware to reassemble them, so they look great.

If I ever manage to get home again while it's not raining, I plan to do a photo article on how to do this.
