Yup, ball joints. 140-160 1968

I'd bet that you need new lower balljoints, like jMc said. You can do it yourself if you have the 2 tools required: a ball joint splitter ("pickle fork", lever type, or clamp type) and a ball joint press.

I've also seen variations on this second tool that make it more suitable for replacing a-arm bushings also, but I can't think of where.
