Find another place - they're trying to pad the bill. There's not a whole lot of money to be made doing an alignment these days, so.
A good alignment technician can even compensate (to a certain extent) for worn out components.
-- Kane ... FWIW, I find the old-tech turntable alignments to be more reliable than the computerized ones. I guess it's just that one actually has to know a few things about alignment to work the old stuff, whereas anyone who can read a computer screen can use the new one.
