Hi Guys:
I posted the following msg on the FWD/V70 forum,but since I've on this forum for so long and you guys always gave me lots of help I decided to post the msg here also hoping for some insight from you guys.Tks.Here is the msg:

"I ve been a regular on the 700 forum,but the life on my '87 740 with 340k miles came to an end yesterday as a bread truck rear ended it to the point of no repair.I have a guy up the street selling a white '98 V70 for $7,200.I only looked at the wagon on the outside which looks ok and noticed that it has a cloth interior not very clean.Tomorrow I intend to go over to take a more detailed look.The guy says it has new brakes and rotors and that the timing belt was changed at 90K miles. What other items should I look into? Does the price seem fair or excessive?I never bought a used car before.My 80 240,my 87 740 and my daughters S40 were new when I purchased them...Tks for your opinions."
