MY BAD!!

I was thinking in terms of the earliest CIS systems without the computer. The later systems do as I recall have the motor driven device. I have never owned on of those. The earliest types were far more rudimentary and Aux Air Device really only came into play when the engine was not up to temp. I only know this because I do recall having one come disconnected once and idle and driveability when cold was horrid to nonexistent.
