No reverse lights 200

I bought some halogen reverse lamps a while back and after I put them in I noticed that my reverse lights would only come on when I jiggled the shifter. I too have a manual. I was just looking in the Haynes book last night and the switch for that is located on the transmission itself, not up at the shifter. It looks like it's an easy replacement and FCP sells the switch for $9.00. FCP part #1307086.
