A possible reason for no back up light on the Right is because the circuit goes to the Left light first. It has to go thru one socket contact to get onto the Printed Circuit laminate, then back out of the adjacent contact to head over to the Right light.

Wiggling the connector or readjusting its position (back out just a touch) sometimes helps. Or the PC laminate may need replacing ($25 for aftermarket brand from FCP Groton).
