Yes I agree with all of the above but also most important make sure the towee has good brakes. You could also do it during the dead of night, quickly and with stealth.

In my youth we towed our cars around many times with just an old rope wrapped around the bumbers, pulled a bumper off once, oh what fun it was when I think back.
