Hello,

Your engine is likely pinging. Make sure you have all your ignition replaceables up to date (ie. plugs, cap, rotors, wires) and that they are all OE parts (Bosch Copper/Bosch Orange/Bosch Orange/Bougicord). Then have your ignition timing checked, the specs are on the driver's side shock tower on the white emissions label. With all of that ruled out, then try using a higher octane fuel.
