If you have a choice, listen to Art.
I eat my words regularly. Keeps me regular.
When I saw the doubled-up wiring for the window heat it seemed clever, and I realized the challenge faced by the designers as more electrical stuff found its way into the tailgate. The fine stranded wiring is the right approach, but I swear no one really planned for these to be absolutely trouble free for two decades of use.
The same type of wire is used in the driver's door's keyswitch, button switch, and the one leading to the differential speed sensor. Did you find the same thing at the ABS sensors on the '93?
