M6 Nut/Bolt Torque

Best I can find so far is from Bentley, for Valve Cover bolts -- 12.5 Nm (9 ft lb)

Sounds about right, same size stud in sealing application.

Guess I'd have to see what 9 ft lb feels like, given that it's also an engine lift point (although nut tightness may not be a factor in weight lifting).
Did I just make a funny there?
