That's a great picture, thanks to Trevor. I saved it for future reference.
But unless I'm missing something, it shows the same wire positions that Steve posted yesterday:
"Left-to-right terminals are 4-3-1-2 with "1" being the frontmost spark plug. Hence, the left* cap terminal is connected with the shortest wire to the rear plug number 4."
* Would changing "left" to "outermost" have made a difference?
I apologize for butting in with my comment on "firing order" (the actual sequence, front-to-rear, in which the cylinders fire). It was more directed to Steve,
but in making it I ignored my own advice and added to your confusion.
