Bushing tools 200 1993

I went to an industrial pipe supply place withA-Arm & bushings in-hand, and had a guy cut the correct diameter tubes from his common stock. All were 1/8" sidewall or 1/4" sidewall stock, rigid steel pipe. Once he set his cut-off tool bed to a perfect perpendicular cut, the tubes came off cut smooth, square and ready to use. The one thing I would add is that make them just a little bit longer than you might want, because the old bushes get streched when pressing out. Make sure you get a supporting tube for under the front A-Arm to get the bush out (needs to contact A-Arm around bush/flange). This one has to be just right dia & lenght, get it w/1/4" wall. Also get yourself a ~3"sq x 1/2 or 3/8 "th steel plate to position over the ends of the tubes when pressing.
