I never press them out. I drill out the rubber and remove the metal insert. I then use a hack saw to cut a slot lengthwise through the metal exterior of the bushing. This makes the diameter of the bushing a bit smaller so it no longer fits tightly. Then lock it in a vise and use a hammer and small chisel. My torque rod bushings took less than 10 minutes a piece. I used the same method with the front control arm bushings. Rear trailing arm bushings took a hand held grinder and chisel to cut the slot (required even with the TAB tool).
