clutch work 444-544

I've had problems with the clutch releas fork/arm bending (and eventually breaking) in a 544... after removing it, it sure looked to me that it was poorly engineered with a narrow weak spot. I put in a fork out of a 122 and it worked fine even though the 544 is direct linkage rather than the 122s hydraulic setup. Direct bolt in.

But that was a B18 car... if you are still running with a B16, that might be different.. don't know. But if it is the same, even if that isn't the problem, I'd use the 122 part anyhow.

Another problem I encountered with a very low mileage clutch was one of the release springs having broks, and I couldn't disengage the clutch completely even though if felt fine... again, a B18 car with a clutch of the type that there are 16 ro 20 or so release springs in the middle.
