I recently found a 91 940 turbo sedan (142K) to replace my beloved 89 240 (168K), which got rear-ended last fall. I considered several 1990-93 models, including wagons, and also pined for the classic 240 lines. Anyway, I'm very happy with the 940, which was meticulously cared for and a good deal at $2500 (only a few hundred more than my insurance reimbursement for the 240). I'm new to turbo, which is a real treat, and I've gotten used to the leather upholstery. The sunroof is nice, too. Lots of room, and slighltly less boxy-looking than the 740. Plenty luxurious for my tastes, without succumbing to the post-95 ersatz-Volvo models. Find a well-maintained 940T, and I think you'll be pleased.
