i'm running 650/250 # springs on my 142 and yes on the street. it isn't that brutal, a little harsh but not brutal. i'm runnig r-sport comp. shocks in the front and some pro shocks in the rear with a 3/5 valving. think i need more rebound in the rear.

i take several hour or two long trips a week and its not so bad. not as comfy as stock.

don't think springs this stiff are for everone though.
