140 alignement 140-160

Hi Joel,
I've was asking myself the same thing when I was in the middle of it.
My 1st thought was as I was rebuilding the suspension, I might as well redo the brakes at the same time. I was told that the vented 164's bolt right in, so I figured why not get vented discs.
The rotors and calipers do go right on, but I found out that, that neccesitates the 164 MC,(bigger piston diameter/output). it actually wasn't that hard, but to get the 164 mc on (and booster) I needed to cut the mounting plate of the "stem" that mounts to the firewall off of the 142's and weld it to the "stem" of the one for the 164, so that long piece from the 164 will mount up to the firewall of the 142.
Now my brakes are great!(every part is brand new and i put in S/S lines), but I don't know if I had just rebuilt the 142's and added the S/S lines and metal master pads, they might be just as awesome. I have no baseline to compare it to.
I'd love to do my own impromptu 60-0 test and see the stopping distances if I could find a safe place to do it.
