A B30 what is it? 140-160

The drain would be in that deeper hole a bit further down. Probably has a plug
in the bottom of it instead of a drain valve.
The location of the other thing is right for the thermal timer that controls
the cold start injector, but the thing in the hole doesn't look quite right.
Since yours is a 75 and different from most of the rest of the B30s, I think
you better get out your green Volvo manual for the 1975 model year and chase
it down.
