a few problems with my 92 240GL 200 1992

The check engine light is probably just slow idle speed if the engine is idleing poorly, so that is not a concern.

Clean the idle air control and throttle body with some aerosol carb cleaner. Examine the air tube from the air filter up to the throttle body for cracks. Buy your next tank of gas somewhere else, and let us know if the problem persists.
