a few problems with my 92 240GL 200 1992

I had this very same problem. Clean the idle air control valve, and the piece that connects to the air mass meter. Once you have done this, disconnect the negative battery cable from the terminal, put it back on, and check your codes. It should read 1-1-1. This is exactly what I did, and the car has been starting strongly ever since, and isn't spitting out any codes. Buy a new air mass meter and idle control valve as a last resort.
