Erik:

Fuel prices have driven the cost of shipping vehicles across the country through the roof. I think sticker shock on many goods/services is going to be a fairly common occurance over the next year or so.

We will try to be ready when the right car becomes available. There is a very clean Swedish 544 about 75 miles away from us but the asking price is $9K. We really just need a driver though, not a collector's car.
