e-codes. where do you them and how much are they? 700

Sorry to say the 1990 oddball is one of the hardest cars to deal with that I have found. To convert to E-codes you will need to change the fenders and grill. The difference in fenders is the angle of the corner lights along with the depth. The hood I believe is the same and the grill I remember being different as well.

You could wire up relays to get a bit more voltage to the bulbs themselves but that will no nothing to help with that rotten "prescription" of the lenses themselves not to mention all the crazing over time. Only advantage would be getting another volt to the bulbs and the loss of bulb life from the hotter burning.

Go click on my profile and look at my 760 on the left side of the picture, that is what a set of real E-codes look like on a 700 series. I got those from a fellow in germany with harnesses and new bulbs. They are far superior than the original squares and have a very good beam spread, it was $125.00 well spent. I wouldn't go spending half a grand for headlights no matter what they were or how european they "claim" to be, go track down some on the 'bay using the search that shows all auctions from non-english speaking sellers. If you see someone parting out a 700 series drop them a note asking for the lights, sometimes they don't even think to list the headlights.
