I wonder about this as well. I have been using 10W-30 Havoline dino,Chevron dino or Mobil Drive Clean dino. I was considering a change to a 10W-40 for the duration of the summer. I was also considering 10W-30 synthetic. Walmart's SuperTech housebrand synthetic is <$12/5 qt. jug and it has all the advanced ratings.
