Weber manifold 120-130

Ah, right. My bad.

The in-line through the heater circuit should work fine for that. Personally, I'd run it from one of the hoses instead of cutting the hard-line. It won't be a lot more hose under there and may help the routing.

As stated, the purpose of heating the manifold is to reduce fuel puddling. LOTS of cars from the era had "hot-spot" intake manifolds for that very reason. The stock dual SU setup had one, in fact, heated by the exhaust.
