Do cold engine compression test mean anything?[edit] 700 1989

As a point of reference, here's what I had on a [cold] '89 B230FT 120K miles:

#1, 125
#2, 120
#3, 129
#4, 130

If you do happen to take the test when hot, post the results.

As per the other comment, the middle 2 look a bit low but it doesn't always equate to impending failure. I've had some wild variations between cylinder on other cars and they still ran fine and didn't consume excess oil.
