89 engine in a 86 200

Unless someone can come up with something different, I would think you would have to swap more than the distributor to make it run right. Since the 86's use a LH2.2 fuel injection controls with the Volvo/ Chrysler ignition systems and the 89's use the LH2.4 and the EZ-116k ignition, you should do one or the other. If you are using the original ignition setup, Volvo/Chrysler ICU and wires, you will have to use the 86 distributor. If you are still using the 86 LH2.2ECU, you would have to use the 007 AMM and the fuel rail with the '86 injectors and FPR. May also be some issues with the O2 and coolent temp sensors, but I am not sure.
