Me too! 85 740 GLE. Advice from the brickboard is Fuel Pump Relay. Mine quits for about 30 sec too then restarts. In fact if you are doing 100k/h it will restart just leaving it in gear and coasting till it fires again. Does it every day, after about 15 mins driving, then OK for the rest of the day !
I will try the FPR.
