Plyers? Any Volvo owner worth his/her salt carries a Leatherman! 'Nuff said.

Adjustable Wrench? All the important stuff is 8,10,11,or 12 mm and the wrenches are there or its TORX. I've seen more damage done with an improperly used Crescent Wrench or Vice Grip than I care to fix.

American Iron? Tool? HA! Hummer kit is Chinese made crap, Caddy has *On Star and Lincoln has just the jack and lug nut tool (same cheapo jack as ALL Ford products from Focus to Lincoln!

Mercedes has cut back on the tools as well, they are an option now.

BMW does know how to look after its customers but most would rather call the 24 HR service line than use the tool kit.

I am bustin' yer chops here and pardon my attempts at humor, its been a long day!
