The older cars (1800/122/544) got a very good quality combination Aligator/Crescent style wrench, I've also seen (have) one of the hubcap remover/Crescent style, don't know if both came in the tool kit or just one per car. They turn up on ebay once in a while.

By the time the 200s rolled off the line what with fuel injection and all I guess Volvo figured no one would be wrenching by the side of the road and cheapened the kit down to what you see.
