Disassembling seized engine 700 1990

Does my '90 740 gl auto have an interference engine? Is it the B234F?

I have the timing belt off, except for the part under the lower cover, because I remember how hard the crankshaft bolt is to remove. I can turn the crankshaft a little less than 1/4 turn. I can turn the camshaft, but the only thing that moves is the lifter closest to the bolt (near the oil cap). If I have an interference engine, I should not be able to turn the camshaft separately from the crank, right?

My motivation is to find the source of the seize. What things do I remove now? The cam cover, cam, ...
