I've been out in garage trying everything but I still cant't get it to run right. I hear the clicking sounds when I open the throttle. I have 28 psi at the cold start injector. My plugs are white/gray/tan on the tip and black everywhere else. I checked and cleaned the fuel injection ground on the intake manifold as well as the battery ground. The coolant temp sensor from the ES passed 2000 ohms when cold and the 142E's coolant temp sensor passed 2400 ohms when cold. The ohms increased when the engine was hot to as high as 4500 ohms. Changing the coolant temp sensors did not change the way it ran. The air temp sensor passed 2200 ohms, I also disconnected it to see if that would solve the problem, but no. However disconnecting the air temp sensor caused the rpms to increase from 850 to about 1000. I've read about skipping experienced when the throttle position sensor goes bad, could this be my problem? When I took the car around for a test drive tonight the engine seemed to miss intermittently, could it be the "skipping" caused by a bad throttle sensor that I have read about? If so how do I test for this and/or fix it? Is there anything else that could cause the skipping and roughness when the throttle is open but would allow the car to idle smooth? Thank you all for your help.
