Noisy fuel pumps

Mark,

Thanks for the information.

I went out to get a regulator last night and could not find one local with the correct top fitting. I am going to order one, but I want to eliminate electrical possibilites before I do so. Last night I checked the current draw on the tank pump and found it to be 2 amps. A friend of mine says his draws around 7 amps. DO you know the proper current draw on the tank pump? Also do you know where I could measure current on the main pump? The # 6 fuse does not show any current, even though it is marked main pump.

One other thing. I get 0 volts at the tank pump with the key in the on posistion and 13.5 volts at the tank pump when the car is running. Is this normal?

Thanks

Bart
