If it's fuse 13 blowing (count down from the top), it also feeds the seat belt reminder lights, heated front seats, and (according to Volvo) the fuel injection system - does the engine stop?

According to my U.S. diagrams, fuse 13 is/was only used on K-jet cars. I believe that means up thru the '84 Turbos here. Your diagrams probably differ, as I know K-jet continued much later in the UK and perhaps other markets.
